I just picked up an Arcam CD192 for £195.................

There is a chance that it is a con (in which case there will be egg on my face - mind you will be paying with Paypal.... so?), advert says that it is mint, but it might not be, however, at that price worth the risk......

I am kind of a bit giddy and shaking....... I cannot wait to hear it.

Without seeing the advert, I couldnt give my actual opinion on it

But I myself have bought a Denon av amp, p1000 arcam amp, 2 *Pioneer dvd players and a PS3 off ebay with no problems whatsoever

Hope it goes well for you - I bought my cd player from e-bay and it failed after 3 months, was unrepairable and I had to by a new one - albeit at a substantial discount.
