Hi

I have a 42" Pana plasma I want to put on the wall.

Do I just need a bracket such as this ? If so - how does this fix onto the back of the TV?

The manual mentions an optional wall hanging bracket - is this something I need as well or is it the same thing ?

Thanks

Your Pana will have holes on the back suitable for the bracket (known as VESA mount)
Thats the easy bit, make sure that you use the correct fixings to fix the bracket to the wall!!

If you're not sure how to do it, then I think you had better get some professional help to wall mount the TV for you. Otherwise, you might risk having the TV come crashing down to the floor if it is not mounted securely.

Agreed! I don't trust myself but my wife's dad has just practically rebuilt our entire house so I'll get him to do it !
