1- i have a arcam alpha 9 which looks brand new and sounds great but i think it is 10-13 years old so i guess i should be looking to get it serviced as i want to keep it for a further 5years. so as the title says how much much and where from.

Why not call Arcam and ask them to recommend someone? Maybe they will do it themselves.

will do i need to quote my serial number anyway to see if it is the remote version my friend knew a bloke and he bought but never used it and sold it to me but there was no remote so im unsure if its a remote version. I guess that i should not be worries as it has only had about 500 hours worth of play and 3/4 of that has been me but it would still be nice to know its in pukka order. thanks
