I will try to remember........

I used the red and white to a spare pair of analogue inputs. (I used AUX1)

I then connected up the component inputs (my 875 has 3 IIRC). eg. 'Input 1', but you can use any. I then made sure I assigned Component 'Input 1' to AUX1 (You have to go into the 'Setup' menu)

This should work. Obviously your 605 may differ from my 875 in some areas.

Basically. A longer winded version of what Nads has posted above.

I used to have a Wii - and yes the component cable is the best option. (once connected make sure set the Wii to the progressive setting for the best picture)

Three of them should connect to the coresponding colours on a component input - and the other two (left & right) for sound. Just make sure you are not confusing one of the audio plugs for a video plug!

There's ll be a lot of red & white sockets. All labelled as TV/DVD/AUX/ etc, etc. Pick a spare one. Then assign the component sockets you've used (eg. In2, as In1 says DVD) to the stereo inputs you've used.

I'll try to find a pic of the back of a 605 to show you exactly where to stick 'em.

Now all you have to do is assign component 'In1' to 'VCR/DVR' and you should be set. This can be done in the 'Setup' menu.

1. Input/Output Assign.

then.

3.Component Video input.

then

VCR/DVR set to IN1.

If it doesn't work, try IN2 & IN3 as it is quite easy to mix them up.

Well. You're only getting a stereo signal from the Wii. So you either go for plain old 'stereo', or you can use 'All Ch Stereo' (Gives the same stereo signal through all the speakers). Or, like me, you could use 'PL2x Game'. This creates a pseudo surround effect. Much the same as PL2x Movie does for TV (Or it does in my house).
