If you are fed up with being force fed Disney Channel or dvds of High School Musical, or if you fancy a really good film for all the family, try this one out. I have it on Bluray and the picture and audio are amazing. It's a very clever, imaginative story and anyone who has read Dr Seuss books to their kids will no what I mean there.

The 'Sixties cartoon version is also good (but not on Blu-ray yet!). It is available with the definitive version of the Grinch, narrated by Boris Karloff!

I agree, it is an excellent alternative to the normal Disney fare and fantastic picture quality.

Conversely I was disappointed with "Open Season" which we've just had from lovefilm. The animation/graphics is very poor by the latest standards in my view.

Horton is up there with Ratatouille!

Yes, watched this on blu-ray a little while ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also nice to see the kids enjoy a movie that they didn't know due to the usual blanket advertising.
