Hi,I am hoping you can help with some advice on the best set to achieve what I am looking for.My current set up is a Macbook Pro, Apple TV 3, Apple TV 2, iPad 2, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S & 2 x iPod 5th Generation. The Macbook has one main library hosting all of the files for Music, Movies, TV Programs, Apps, eBooks, Podcasts and Ringtones. This is then split down further by one library for each device which contains a subset of main library depending on what the device is used for. The lower level libraries do not contain physical files, just the reference pointer to the file in the main library.As my library is ever expanding what I am looking to do is move iTunes and the entire contents of it to a NAS drive or similar which I can connect my Macbook to wirelessly to update the main library and sub-libraries as and when I need to. From what I understand this is not a problem but where it gets tricky is this next bit. I am looking to the NAS drive to almost always be on and would like the Apple TVs to be able to recognise and see the main library on the NAS so I can stream movies and TV programs as well as music.Is there a NAS drive currently on the market which fits the bill? Getting a straight yes or no answer from the forums is proving more difficult than I thought. I know that there are Synology products which support Airplay but is this limited to music or does it also include M4V files too? In terms of set up I'm looking at RAID along with a completely separate external drive designated for back up. Budget is not so much of an issue provided I can get the kit to do the job.
