I'm looking for a bi-wire speaker cable that is flexible.

Right now I'm using the Chord Carnival Silverscreen Bi-Wire cables that are quite good I think.

But I'm actually looking for cables a bit more high end simply to get more out of my system. The speakers I have are B&W 804s, they are matched with a KRELL KAV-400xi amp and a LINN Majik cd player.

Already tried Chord Signature speaker cables with the Signature jumper cables, but found the sound not that good as I expected. Most of all it was not that open and transparent through my system. Maybe because I had those cables not laying free from the wall (perhaps can anybody tell me?). I had them a bit stuck against the wall, due to lack of space in my room. No problem with the Chord Carnivals I use now, they are not that stiff and can easily be bent so they don't touch the wall.

So does anybody have a good cable in mind for me? A bi-wire cable that would fit my system well?

Thanks very much! George

Can anyone explain how this can make any difference at all?

Try Nordost cables; their range is dominated by 'ribbon' type designs which are good for installation. They have a wide range and rival the Chord signatures in price (and well beyond!).

Their cables are detailed and transparent - although cable matching to your electronics can be hit and miss.

I do own and have had cables from Chord, Van Den Hul, Kimber, Nordost, Audioquest, MIT and my favourite are Nordost - currently Red Dawn and Heimdall.

Check out http://www.highendcable.co.uk/Nordost%20Speaker.htm for prices and the bi-wiring terminations can be specified.

I am also curious as to why you think touching the wall may affect the signal integrity?!
