I have one. It has 6 sockets and surge protection which I find handy. Apart from that it sounds just like any other mains extension cable.

I wouldn't get another because you can get a 6 socket surge protected extension cable for £10 which will sound exactly the same.

i have one too...cant say i noticed any more 'air' around instruments..but..had a power surge the other day..saved my kit! Worth £40...
