Hi, I'm not sure if this post belongs here or elsewhere....

I am looking to put hi-fi in my kitchen, I don't want to use clutter any surfaces with audio equipment and I have a tight budget. I have a Squeezebox Duet which I want to utilise.

I was looking at mounting some stereo speakers on a wall, using an in-wall amplifier and connecting the Duet to the line-in of the amplifier (the Duet receiver can be hidden in the ceiling above the kitchen). I have looked around for in-wall amp and speakers and have come up with this combo:

Q Accoustic 2020 stereo speakers (6 ohms, 75w max output) and Keene K-LAB-20 in wall amp (20W RMS per channel, 4 ohms recommended minimum speaker impedance)

My question is, will the amp be ok to drive the speakers? and does anybody have any other recommendations in this area?

Cheers, Rich

Have you heard the Boom? Surprisingly good for such a small box & would happily sit on a shelf.

There was supposed to be a mounting kit available but IIRC, it was stupidly expensive & never materialised.
