HELP: Yamaha 863 or yamaha 1800

Just ordered the yamaha 863 online and they are out of stock. Instead they have offered me the yamaha 1800 at the same price. What should i do?. Is the 1800 a better amp or should i order the 863 somewhere else. PLEASE SOME ADVICE.

I'd hold out for the 863SE.

The yamaha 1800 is an old model, wait for the 863 or take a look at their fantastic RX-V1900

Had my 863 for a couple of weeks now.

I consider it the best av amp I've ever owned.

There are many rave reviews about this product (including a very good one on this site).

You could also arrange a demo from your local store.

I ordered mine on amazon and it arrived two days later.

I would certainly recommend holding out until you get one
