Hi guys my niece has put a password on, but can't remember it, is there anyway of solving it. Third generation one I think.

She probably has all that music on her laptop/pc/mac too since it syncs with iTunes. No big deal, it'll just take some time to put it back on the pod.

I don't passcode my phone. I don't keep sensitive data on it so if it gets nicked , its gone anyway who cares. Your 3rd and 4th gen iPods can have iOS5 installed, therefore Find My iPhone can be installed. That will allow you to wipe the iPod should it get stolen.
