help with hi fi/rear surround speakers

i'm a newbie and would like some advice on setting up surround sound on my existing hi fi,nad cd 521bee,nad amp c320bee pure drx 702es tuner and b&w dm603,it's the rear speakers that i need help with as they have got to be bookshelf and work with all types of music and work well as surrounds,i have looked but the choice is endless so would like some expert advice,here are a few i've looked at;

q acoustic 2010

wharedale diamond 9.1 and diamond 10 and 10.1

tannoy mercury f1 custom

mission m31i

mission mx1

also going to add a centre speaker and sub later,

and what av processor/amp can i add to my nad amp has pre outs ? any other ideas other than yamaha dsp e800,thanks,John.

You need more than a processor, you need an AV receiver, as the centre and surround channels need amplifying as well. This receiver needs to have preout to pass the front stereo channels to the NAD amp for amplification.

it's the speakers i need advice with,as the dsp-e800 is a processor/amp this is what i was going to do, connect a phono cable from the AV Receiver to the Main input on the NAD stereo amp. The AV Receiver will drive the centre and rears and output to the sub ( for movies!) and the NAD amp will continue to drive the fronts,cheers,John.
