help with belkin surge protector

hi, i have just purchased belkin home theatre surge protector from amazon it only just arrived and its come with a 1. 8m aerial cable.Do i have to use that? i can see where it connects to the protector but do i then take my old arial cable out of the wall and not use it or what? and then put in the arial from the belkin.Hope you can understand what i am trying to say.

I assume the Belkin Surge Protector has both an aerial input and output?. If so you should connect the cable that goes from you're aerial socket into the surge protector, and connect the cable from the tv into the surge protector, and everything should be fine.

hi tiggs, i know you are going to think i am thick, well i am! but i am a lady senior citizen not to sure on the ins and out, so do i put the aerial lead ftom the wall into the aerial input of the protector . iv got both input and output. thanks tinytots

hi tiggs, well iv connected my surge protector up, and the tv has not blown up yet! so i think iv done it right. the only thing i have noticed is the volume on my amp is not as loud as it was. tiny tots
