Help system matching for a newbie of sorts

I recenlty purchased a package deal on the following

Cambridge Audio 650 Amp

Cambridge 650 Cd player

Mordaunt-Short Mezzo 2 speakers

Im restricted to playing music at high levels. Would Monitor Audio BX2s match the Cambridge better?

If you can budget for it, get a pair of RX1's instead. HUGE step up from the BX2 and value wise, terriffic.
