Help on recording programmes from virgin media box to video recorder

Like the title of the thread says can anyone tell me the EASIEST and most effective way of copying programmes from the hard drive of my virgin media box to my video recorder? Any good advice would be very much appreciated guys as i'm pretty hopeless at this kind of thing.

Setet your DVD to the channel that you have cable on

In the V+ guide select V+ Extras then copy to ( sorry not at home so this is from memory) DVD /VCR , select programs you want to copy and press OK on each to select tell it to start & press record on your DVD .

Assuming your DVD recorder is connected to the VCR scart out on Virgin media box
