I have got myself a new HiFi system : Naim Uniti2 with ProAc Tablette Anniversary.

My new room is size : 12' (W) x 36' (L) with a toilet & shower area of 5' (W) x 9' (L) at the far left corner (viewed from the door). This toilet 5' length is on the 12'.

I am having some difficulty layout my HiFi room. Do i need to partition up for better sound quality? I have been thinking for 2days and still cannot find an idea sketch. Basically i would be either sitting or lying on my bed for listening to music and watching movie out of this system. So it will be within the bedroom partition, but due to the rectangular shape and the toilet area is at one end while the door is at the other end, there is no way for me to partition in the middle as it would like rather akward and difficult to pass through.

Maybe u guys have a better idea, so would really appreciate if anyone could help me out. Currently its an empty room and yet to install electrical power point. Kindly help me out as i have a sleepless night last night thinking of this room.

If I understand your room description, though not sure where door actually is

I'd probably arrange something like this, so in effect dividing the room into 3 with clothes storage to left, other storage to right of room and bed AV equipment in centre, this way tou have similar surfaces near each speaker and they are kept away from the corners of the room.

Hope the link works

Yup it's what exactly it is. Juz the door is not at the bottom but on the right. (Directly opposite the toilet) where the right L shape cabinet is. How do u guys attach picture file? But is it too open for my ProAc Tablette Aaniversary n might not work at best?

I couldn't work out how to attach a picture either that's why I used Flickr

I also assumed that all you are doing with that room is sleeping and listening to music. I'm not familiar with your speakers but the layout I proposed was to try to keep each speaker in a similar acoustic environment. I don't think the door position makes much difference to my plan. If you think this space is too open, then would there be enough room for some room dividers such as Ikea Expedit shelving to separate the wardrobe area and the bookcase areas on my plan maybe like this?
