HELP!!!! Need to connect Samsung LED TV to Arcam Solo Mini

Just set up new Samsung UE40B7000 TV, knowing that the sound was poor. Plan was to connect to Arcam Solo Mini and Monitor Audio R6's when needed decent sound.

Devastated to discover, no audio out connections on either TV or V+ box!

Can I get around this??

TV has optical audio out and V+ has spdif, but solo mini only has phono in

If I can't is the only other option purchasing a home cinema system?

From what I gather, the only thing you can do is to get a Scart -> RCA cable (red, white and yellow cable) or maybe one without yellow connection.

If the TV is anything like the 40B7070 available in Sweden, your only way to get sound out of the TV is scart or digital optical which the solo mini doesn't have.

Possible solution.............whats it worth?

This is the problem with buying online,

or a retailer thats rubbish, anyway monkey now off my back.

The only way i can see is scart to 2or3 phono cable, scart out from V+ box (in VHS or scart 2) to phono in on your arcam box.

Job done.
