Help Me Mission MX1 or Tannoy mercury V1

I had both here for a while and tried them both on the end of a Yamaha RXV667 and also on a Yamaha A-S500. The Tannoys give a more etched sound with more attack to the leading edges of notes. They are quite an explicit, detailed listen for the money with better bass performance than the old F1 Customs and much improved openess in the treble. The Missions are a warmer, slightly softer-edged sound with a broader bass but still have plenty of detail.
Both are excellent speakers and there isn't a whole lot to choose between them.

Personally I prefer the Tannoys. I always liked the older F1 Custom model, and the new V1s are quite a big improvement on those. I haven't got either now but that is more to do with my constant box swapping than any criticisms of the speakers!

Can you tell me the RMS ratting of the Mission mx1 as just gives peak power of 100w on mission site?
Also what are the Tannoys like for Bass as looking at what HiFi review "Some rivals punch harder"?
What HIFI state that they have Max power handling (watts) 200? but I’m guessing this is just an error on the site.
Am interested in the Tannoy as found them for £129 compared to the missions at £149 also think the missions look ugly as hell but if the sound and performance is better on the missions i would pay the extra.
