Hi Guys,
I have the Wharfedale SW 150 sub woofer. I use them to boost the lower frequency that my BX2 cannot cover.
I have just moved to a new home. so after 5 weeks i have just unboxed everything . To my surprise morning I have notice a popping sound coming from it :O . The sound is so unbearable which ruin my listening pleasure. currently the volume is set at 10 oclock on SW 150. and the amp is volume were at 10 oclock also.
the sound seems to be improved when i turn the SW150 volume at 8 oclock ( which i can barely hear anything). NB: The SW150 is plugged via a the subwoofer outlet on my AS500. It is 6 months old.... to make matters worse my new lounge is bigger. and i neeed the extra boost from SW 150 to fill this 5m X 4.4m lounge.
The motor seems to be doing well when i have tried different volume test, but it is just the popping sound which i dont understand :help:
I will value any answer as to ascertain why the SW150 is making these sound. your expert opinion will be very much appreciated.
Regards
Fred
