Help! do i wait for Panasonic z800 42 inch?

Help! Not sure whether to wait for the new Z800 range which comes out soon or go for something now?advice please.

Having read the tech specs for this set, it does seem to tick all the correct boxes.

My viewing distance will be approx 9 ft and i will be mainly watching blu ray films and using my PS 3.

Depending on what you are looking for, I may be able to speak from experience on this one as I went for the X600 series of the Panasonic when these were new over the PX60 series. What particularly on the spec of the Z800 do you prefer over the Z80? Personally, I went for it because of the better sound system, but I realise now I wasted quite a bit of money for this as I normally use my external sound system except for just general TV viewing (when I couldn't really care less anyway). That cost me an extra £800 or something at the time... but you live and learn!

Obviously, it may be some other part which attracts you, or you may not have the external sound system, in which case, it might be worth it.

It was more the extra picture processing systems ie the cinema and game modes thanthe sound system as i have a external sound system .
