Hi all,
I need advice on a second hand Arcam Alpha 9 amp that is goign for a very good price. They normally go for £160 to £220 at the moment and really love the sound of them and i found one a lot cheaper as it has a small fault, which seems some here has experinced a lot already.
The fault is described by the seller as follows with a way round it..
Cosmetically the amp is perfect, but it does have a minor, occasional
crackle in the sound output. This is usually remedied straight away by
switching the input selector away from the source you are listening to,
and then switching back. What may i be able to do to fix this and is the problem is anyones expertise somethign to stay well away from?
Many thx in advance for any help.
