Height of tone arm in the turntable...

Hi,

I have a Linn Axis and I just wanted to know if there is a guide line height for the tone arm where it sits within the turntable. The height setting at this point will effect the angle at which the stylus sits in the groove.

Not too sure on the Axis itself but basic guide line for VTA is to adjust your arm height so that the flat base of your cartridge is parallel to the LP surface when normal tracking weight is applied. There are instructions online for various tonearms and general guidelines.
