Headphones that can be adjusted for each ear

My friends son has an ear problem, one ear is slightly deaf. are there any headpnones out there that can be adjusted for each ear ?

The Fiio E17 portable headphone amplifier has balance controls amongst other things. Any use? It's about £100 I think but he could use that with any headphones now and in the future.

You must first consult a medical ear doctor for advice, then tell us what he or she recommends.
