Headphones for gaming?

Hi, all. Can anyone suggest a good pair of (preferably wireless) surround sound headphones that would be good for use when gaming? The ones I use at the moment must be getting on for about 25 years old (!) and while they still work, I think they only cost about £20 when new (prezzie from dad) so I'd like to get some new ones. I know pretty much zip about headphones, so if the price could stay sub-£100 I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

There seem to be quite a few around, though I've not tried any.
