Can anyone recommend a good quality HDMI to DVDI-D cable? around £30-£50

Just to check - My best mate's got an older Plasma that supports 720p but has no HDMI in. He plays all sound through his amp. Does using this cable mean he can take 720p images out of a suitable box and enjoy a bit of HD?

If he has a DVI input then yes he canish. set BD player to 720p or 1080p and let the TV convert it back down. and see what does the best job.

While i was back in the uk was watching BD on an oldish Samsung 19" LCD
