HDMI Chord Actice cable - is it directional

Hi - just received my HDMI Chord Active cable from WHI subs but no instructions came with it.

One end is grey the other black and there are triangles going from the black end to the grey end where there is also a 'bulge' in the cable.

So could you please tell me if this is a directional cable and, if so, which end is connected to which.

Arrows show the signal flow - the filter network (in the bulge) goes at the receiving device end. So if it's running player to receiver, bulge is at the receiver end; if it's going from receiver to TV, bulge goes at TV end.

Just out of idle curiosity, when did you subscribe to the mag?

Sorry, received mine about 3 weeks ago and I subscribed over the Internet on the first day WHF came out in the shops.
