HDMI cables - short lengths

Anyone found any *good* short length HDMI cables? I know .5metre QEDs exist, but what about shorter - i.e. .25metre? Or other brands? 1m seems excessive for gear that is racked - nothing is more than between .25 and .5 metres apart.

Probably cost you more, in fact, as the cables would have to be custom-made.

But having 0.5m HDMIs would suggest your equipment is very close together, which is hardly ideal in performance terms

Not too close togther - but think the logic through. If my amp is in the middle, DVD on top, Sky HD on bottom, connect with 1m HDMI (as is the current situation) and you were to space it as much as possible, that would suggest approximately a 2m high rack. Not g/f or room friendly.
