Hi all just bought a new 50in tv to replace my 8 year old 42in, put the new one on the wall bracket and the hdmi cable that is buried in th wall is about 7in to short to fit into the new tv ! What are my best options apart from stripping wallpaper pulling cable out re plastering etc. etc.

Many thanks Adam

I've posted a reply, but because I included a link it needs to be reviewed first... |(

Anyway, you can try something like the 'CablesToGo WirelessHD HDMI Kit'. Dabs are currently selling it for a bargain £39.99 + p&p. But, this particular model doesn't support 3D.

WirelessHD is the way to go for you though.

I had the same problem with my old 1.3 spec QED-P HDMI. I bought a female to female connector from futureshop.co.uk, and added another HDMI of the same type, it works perfectly, no drop in picture quality and it still passes a Full 3D HD signal (a bonus really, as otherwise I would have had a major job digging the trunking of of the plastered wall and replacing with a high speed certified cable). Hope this helps.
