Evening Tommo,

the only DAC I know of is the Naim DAC, but at £2100 cheap it ain't. The Naim Uniti range of all in one players accept USB sticks if you would consider swapping systems. I'm sure there will be other folk on here with some alternatives!

Cheers, Nick

Mmm I will try that again.

Quick qn, I have alot of music stored on Usb drives that I would like to play via my stereo setup. Is there a device I can use to interface between the HDD and the amp that will alow this. I realise I need a DAC but the ones I have looked at only seem to accept computer inputs and I would rather not have have to have a PC on just to decode wav, m4a and mp3 files!! I have no need for anything fancy like a preamp etc just USB drive in and line level analogue out, any and all suggestions welcome.

Cheers

Any DVD player with USB connection should do, even cheap ones.
