hdcp on panasonic ae4000

hi can anybody help with this problem i have a panasonic ae4000 projector a 50 s10 panasonic plasma and a panasonic 750 blu ray recorder also sky hd they are connected up as follows 75cm chord active from sky to a chord hdmi matrix and 75cm chord active from blu ray to matrix then a 3m chord active to plasma and a 10m chord active to projector the sky and blu ray work fine on the plasma but i am having problems with the proj the sky comes on for a few minutes and then goes off and the blu ray does not come on at all if i go into the blu ray set up and turn hdcp off then i get the settings screen on the proj but it says that i cannot watch anything because hdcp has been disabled if i bypass the box and plug them in direct they are both fine could this be a problem with the box or the proj as i am at a loss i have been on 2 days also the sky box isbrand new as they replaced my old hdbox as it would not work on the 10m cable 75cm ok 3m ok 5m ok 10m no way sky could not underrstand this and sent an engineer out to test and when i showed him he agreed and changed it

Is the Sky box plugged into input 1 on your switch? The Panasonic can be a bit fussy about working through a switch - are you running both displays at the same time? Do you have HDMI control turned on - vieralink?

hi thanks for the prompt reply i have tried both ways at the moment i have proj on output 2 and blu ray on input 1 i do not have hdmi control turned on thanks

I would try putting the Sky on input 1 if you can . The HDMI output is normally always on with the HD boxes and this can cause a conflict on the switch.

thanks for the tips tried this but still the same i guess that will be the matrix going back and back to fiddling round the back to swop cables

tried a 3m instead of the 10m and every thing worked ok so i do not know if its the 10m or the matrix when i use the 10 direct from blu ray or sky every thing is ok on the proj when i use the 10m from the matrix nothing at all on blu ray and sky goes off every 10mins or so this would suggest its the matrix but sky and blu ray ok on 3m though matrix on the plasma so this would suggest cable its got to be one or the other or both i am starting to think matrix
