HD Audio

Hi

I was wondering if anyone has compared HD audio disks (played on bluray) to regular CD on a decent player for sound quality ?

I have an album purchase in mind and is available on vinyl,bluray audio and regular CD. The vinyl and bluray versions are twice the price.

Equipment similar price range (bluray,CD player)

I tell you, blu-ray audio sounds better in a 5.1 set up in a bdplayer than a cd does played through an AVamp.

When all channels are working it can be quite stunning in fact - CD's still work in their own dedicated player in stereo.

In my experience anyway.
