Has someone made a mistake?

Just got my copy of the Awards Issue 2011 and on page 12 there is an advertisement for a company’s network music player.

I’ll quote a few lines from the Ad,

“Playback 24Bit/96Khz studio master quality FLAC and WAV files in “better than CD” quality, plus all the most popular formats like MP3. AAC and Vog Orbis.

What’s Vog Orbis?

Do they mean Ogg Vorbis?

Is this a mistake or is there yet another new format?

Sorry if I’m being picky but just thought I’d point this out.

You'd need to tell the advertiser in question, the magazine isn't responsible for the spelling in adverts.

Indeed. We've got nothing to do with the ads - we don't even see them until we receive the finished mags from the printers.

And that's not the only blooper in an advert this issue. But hey, we're all only human :)
