Has anyone used Sky hd as their tuner?

I have just ordered Chord's entry level interconnect (Crimson) and plan to connect it to my HD box so that when I want to listen to the radio, I can use Sky. I know this probably won't sound as good as a decent tuner but £30 for the cable is cheaper than buying a new tuner and I don't have any more space on my shelves! Has anyone else done this?

I do, optical out in to stand alone DAC then back in to preamp.....sound great

Good. However, I use the optical for surround sound via my av receiver.

My av receiver went back in the box a while ago. I should take it out again really, what a waste of money otherwise.

I use Freeview as a Tuner, but with analogue cables to the amp.
