Has anyone heard the cambridge audio 851 e and w yet?

Have been wondering this myself. I had an 851a which failed, but haven't found anything for around the same price that comes close in terms of sound - so am considering giving the e/w a go.

There doesn't seem to be much detailed information available online - for example, how the volume control differs in the 851e as aposed to the 851a.

The specs do look nice though... the only thing that worries me slightly is the reliability.

Has anyone here owned the previous 840 e and 840 w, and could comment on the sound and reliability?

Heard the combo this morning, with an 851c running a mixture of tannoy and dali speakers. IN a word... stunning.

Very clear and clean sounding, with tons of power and great control.
