Just wondering if anyone has feedback on Hi-Spek. I found a great offer of the Yamaha 863 and Kef 2005.3 for £1049. Unfortunatly they want to charge a fortune to ship it to Ireland. Exceptional AV in their 10% discount offer can do it delivered for £1167 including a £25 shipping charge. Believe it or not the Hi-Spek offer works out slightly dearer including shipping.

Anyone got any advice please I don't know either company.

All I would say at this point is - from my own bitter experience - have you checked with both companies (by email or phone) have the items in stock?

Bought my Onkyo amp from Exceptional AV - not an issue at all with them, amp arrived next day as promised (mind you, I'm in England, not Ireland).

you could always ask a courier company to store collect and ship to you - have done in past if its cheaper

Hi-Spek also have a retail outlet near St Albans. ÿI bought my TV from them and I thought they were excellent when I visited for a demo.
