i obviously have no idea about copyright rules, i just thought it would be useful.

does this mean that all my posts on here are my copyright?

if the guy who wrote it gives permission is it ok to re-post?

Probably need Andrew to comment on the 'permission' clause cos I don't understand it:

"The copyright, and other rights, in some of the material appearing on the Site may
belong to a third party. It is your responsibility to obtain any licences or permissions
that may be required to use such material and you agree to pay any costs or expenses
incurred by Haymarket which arise as a result of your failure to obtain such licences
and permissions."

It would depend on the Ts and Cs of the site from which you were quoting it. I have to admit I usually err firmly on the side of caution.

thanks, a.f.a.i.k. the other site leaves copyright in the hands of the original author but i think i'll leave it. i'm sure a bit of googling would bring up the original anyway.

Does that mean, when I was quoted by PMC in some of their advertising blurb a while ago, WHFSV gave them permission to use it?

i might do pj, although to be honest there isn't a lot to it. finding the audio midi settings was about the hardest bit.
