Hi Andrew,

I am very interested in the group test of the new HTIB systems in the £600-700 price range, like:

Samsung HT-C6930W (3D capable),

Samsung HT-C7550W,

LG HX995TZ (3D capable),

LG HB965TZ,

Sony BDV-E870 (3D capable) and

Panasonic SC-BT735 (you have already tested it, but how it compares to the others?)

Are you planning such a test (or similar)?

Also, I would very much like to know their abilities with stereo music.

Thanks in advance for your reply,

Goran

Hi there, i was looking at getting a all in one system a few weeks ago and posted a topic on here about it, and was told that there was going to be a group test of all in one systems in the next issue so that might help you.

At the price you are looking at, as i found, out going the seperates route will give much better results all round.

hope that helps

Hi Craigy P,

Not wishing to go off subject but:

Does your Sony S370 BD player tie in well with your Sony STR-DN1000 and Jamo's?

I have the same setup but i am currently using a Panny BD player that has a solid forceful sound even in bitstream. My PS3 suited the amp better but has just 'died'! ( 3rd in as many years) The Sony S370 would make a very sensibly priced solution if it all synchs together well.

Advice appreciated.

KInd Regards,

Any answer, Mr.Everard?

* Thanks for the suggestion craigy p, but I am only considering all-in-one system due to reasons which are not useful to be explained in this thread.

Best rgds,

Yes, there's a group test in the new issue, with subscribers now and in the shops on Wednesday: includes JVC TH-BD50, LG HB965TZ, Panasonic SC-BT73 and Samsung HT-C6500.

Just purchased a Sony KDL-40EX503 to replace an ageing 32" CRT, now want to match this up with a Blu-Ray player and potentially a home cinema system, so looking to What Hi-Fi for some advice.

My budget is limited (£500 tops), so wanted to know if matching up a Sony BDP-S370 (£100) with a home cinema amp and speakers, or going for a Home Cinema System (eg Sony BDV-E370, £400, or Sony BDV-E870, £450) is a better option?

The recent Home Cinema Test didn't have any Sony system in the test, so how does the 5 star system like the old model BDV-E300 compare with the new model and the competition?

Also how does the actual Blu-Ray player part of the all-in-one system compare with a standalone player, using the BDP-S370 as a benchmark?

Thanks
