Green lines all across my plasma tv screen - advice or help??

Last night i was watching my plasma TV, & it suddenly had funny lines come across the screen. I tried it on several pieces of equipment, xbox360, Sky, TV channels, & there were green lines all across the entire screen on all

I did a mains reset turning it off at the socket for a minute then turning it back on, & it worked fine

BUT the TV is now nearing 5 years old so im wondering if it may be nearing the end of its life, if anything can be done for it or if i would be better starting to look at purchasing a new tv

There are a few things that may have caused this to happen form the X+Y drive boards,logic board or even the pannel but without having the Tv tested it's impossible to know. Drive boards are normally quite easy to get hold of and cost circa £100 +fitting as where a new pannel is just not a viable repair as it would cost hundreds if the pannel is still avalible.
