Wonedring if anybody on the Whathifi forum was aware of any official fixes around the wifi problems reported in some other forum sites.Was seriously considering getting these for christmas presents , until i stared digging around reviews and noticed that people were complaining of dropped wifi connection. and any updates in so far as 4.1.2 is concerned there has been no fix , which maybe a hardware problem as some have suggested. ??

Wasn't aware of this. Excellent wifi signal for me (much better than iPhone 5!) and no drop outs.

The wifi antenna on my Nexus 7 is noticably weaker. It shows almost no signal when it's full on the iPad. Not bothered me yet though.
Thanks for the reply's , aye most of the reviews have been positive , but certainly there has been a stack of comments on an android forum highlighting this, this issue has put me back on the fence ...
Have had a Nexus 7 since day one and experienced no problems whatsoever with Wi-Fi. It's a great piece of kit and highly recommend it, far better value than the iPad.
