I am looking for speakers to work well with Roksan Caspian M series-1. Am used listening jazz and vocals.(Diana Krall,Norah Jones,Rummer...) but Italian singers Laura Pausini,Eros Ramazzoti... too.

For your taste of music ATC SCM11 are highly recommended, I had Roksan M1 with ATC SCM 11 and they produced heavenly sound :). Also WHFS&V always recomended in their system advice M1 to go with ATC SCM 11 you can also try EB2 but they are little light on bass compared to ATC otherwise both are good options.

Hi atinka1

What speakers do you currently use?

What source component/s do you use?

The size of your room?

Is the room lightly or heavily furnished?

Room positioning of the new speakers (distance to walls, corners, will there be anything between the speakers such as a chimney breast, cabinet, windows etc.)?

Distance between the speakers?

Listening distance?

Your general listening level?

Would you prefer bookshelf of floorstanding speakers?

Your budget for a new pair of speakers is?

All the best

budget,as quoted 1000-1600gbp

I listened Tannoy Revolution DC6T-lack of warmth, would like to know how will PMC GB1i or Proac 140mk2 deal

with it.

Along with the Proac, I would also suggest the Spendor A5.

Thanks lindsayt,

but those are more than a huge speakers.

my room is like inversed L shaped, and square part is 4.3x7.5m,so lets say that that part of the room is aprox.32sqm.

I would like to buy speakers like PMC GB1i, if they are not too small for mentioned space.

maybe i should go that way,i dont know

if anybody had occasion to hear caspian+gb1i in aprox.30m2,while listening jazz vocals it would help.

Hi atinka1

Thanks for your reply.

Have a look at Monitor Audio's Silver RX6's or (particularly with the size of your room) the Silver RX8's. I've not heard the M1 and 8200CD together however i think the Silver RX speakers will add some bite and grip to the sound without (i hope) the overall presentation of the system becoming bright.

Anyway try these speakers and preferably in your room.

All the best
