Good old blu tack.

Just a quick thanks to professorhat for the tip on how to fix my speakers to the stands,i can't believe how well the blu tack holds them.

No worries, I can't really take credit though, this is a well known trick! Glad it's working out though.

Yep.

I did that with my large speakers that were part of a Technics system back in the early ninties. I later found out that it was normal for people to use blu tack for the same purpose. I would imagine people are doing that since blu tack was invented.
