After much research and having the pleasure of experiencing the Usher Dancer BE-20s one time which started my love and appreciation for a good home hifi, there is really something about Usher speakers. Although I seriously don't have that type of budget I have been looking more into something more affordable with the 6311's, rave reviews across the board pretty much anywhere you look and nothing but praise. Without trying to offer any kind of direct comparison between the 6311's and the flagship Dancers, the 6311's seem to share a couple of the same characteristics, such as the sheer punchiness and weight and ability to project a decent soundstage.

What im trying to ask is would an amp such as the musical and full of character Rega Brio-R feed the 6311's what they want and provide a good match? Or should I be looking at something a bit more up the price range?

I'm looking at getting back into Vinyl a little more, hence the suggestion of the Rega, as pretty much everyone seems to rate the phonostage in the amp.

Thanks in advance

I'm using a quad 44 Pre /405-2 Power combo with my Ushers, sounds amazing. I have also tried them with a Mission Cyrus III and Pioneer AV amp, both sound pretty good but nowhere as good as the Quad setup. You should be able to get a pair of these relatively cheap on ebay, I had mine serviced and upgrade by North Hill Audio, highly recommended. I'm using a DIY DAC (raspberry pi with hifiberry 24bit/192khz DAC module, with integrated squeezebox which allows HD FLAC and Spotify playback) and an old B&O 5005 turntable.
