Hi can anyone reccomend an amp for my Goldring 1973 made Turntable? it has a five pin (male) din plug.

I cannot throw the turntable away but needs to match up with a suitable amp.

Something like this might do the trick

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-PIN-DIN-Socket-to-2-RCA-PHONO-Plugs-AUDIO-lead-cable_W0QQitemZ310135307453QQihZ021QQcategoryZ14968QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

Then any amp with a built in phono stage will do

Assuming it is a Swiss made Goldring Lenco GL75 then it probably deserves a better arm than the original fitted item.

This would also take care of the DIN plug issue.
