Superb! The fact that you're using the Naim electronics with the R3s with great success just shows how good the Rega speakers are. I was dead impressed when I first heard the Apollo, Mira3 and R5s some years ago. The price was soberingly low.

I wish you many happy hours listening to that system, including many happy new CD/vinyl purchases!!!

Thanks igglebert, all my vinyl and the rest of the CD collection is in the cupboard under the stairs. Only a select few CD's make it onto the "racks"

Haha, I (try to) do the same. Only a select few make it downstairs but I keep putting them back on the shelf down here. Another couple of weeks and the entire collection will be migrated

The cupboard is only in the next room/space so if only I could knock a hole through just above and to the right of the radiator and I would have a walk in storage area (hmmmm) got me thinking now.................

.. its great that you have your hifi in a dedicated room , handy if you want to chill while the rest of the family are watching tv or whatever .. all you want in there now is a mini fridge full of beer and your laughing

Thanks max, if you look at the second picture you can see on the right the edge of the kitchen cabinet which houses the fridge. My little piece of heaven is located just off the main kitchen, well away from TV's, doorbells, phones everything 🙂

Still there, just. Back to work Sunday :-(. Sat here tonight beer free (and wine / spirits before anyone says) listened to several Moody Blues LP's, now settling back into the start of the right hand rack.

Best thing about upgrading is rediscovering all of your music for a second, third, fourth...........nth time 🙂.

Just the HICAP to go in around XMAS, then..............................................
