Getting the best from my 40Z5500

Hi guys and gals,

Finally took the plunge and got myself a Sony 40Z5500. Straight out of thge box the HD image is imaculate, and with some tinkering i have the SD image looking very nice, and the sound nice and crisp.

Other than playing for hours can anyone tell me how to get the best out of this set, as there are options that i have no idea as to what they do.
