Last Christmas I made some significant upgrades to my Nad cdp and amp. Whilst auditioning the kit I finally bought I came across some focal electra 1038be speakers.

I have to say I fell in love there and then.

But after getting over my initial disappointment with my new kit I now love the sound it produces. I underestimated the difference new kit sounds once it has been run in and whilst it probably still has some running in to do it sounds wonderful.

So, do I go and get these focal speakers

I'd let your system fully run in before making any changes. You may feel that when things have settled down that you're more than happy with your set up, for the time being anyway.

Thanks for the reply to what was a pretty dumb post. I was really seeking guidance on the difference these speakers would make over and above what I have.

My current system is getting better and better but I suspect the focal will give me a bigger sound. At the moment I cant fault my kit, I made the mistake of auditioning the QBD through some very high end kit and therefore have been tainted by what if could sound like with further investment.

I am happy to go down that road if it makes a difference. What impressed me most was the depth of sound but maybe I am being a tad unrealistic.

Anyway thanks for the reply
