getting rid of a old friend

i have a cambridge audio p25 mkll integrated amp ( about 14 yr old very well used ) with a cambridge

azur 350c CD player with wharfedale diamond 8.1 speakers in a 19ft +19ft room & im not that happy with it ,

do i need to replace my faithful old amp or get new diamond 10.1 speakers ,or both

Try to demo the speakers with amp. Then take it from there. Either take it to the store or see if you can do a home demo/return if you don't like.

well it seems to lack a bit of power , its quite a big square room & does not fill the space

the amp is old & has been hammered
