Garden speakers

I have a Hitachi AS-M140 Hifi system and would like to run 8 gardens speakers for a party. The system is 4 seperates (DVD, FM Radio,MP3 & Amp) joined by a ribbon cable. I have been told I need another Amp any suggestions please.
