FULL SCREEN VIEW

Hi,

I have just moved to Blu_Ray and have a Sony BD Player and Sony Bravia TV. Whatever I do I can only get the true widescreen picture from the disc with the blackout bits top and bottom of the screen. Is there any way I can change the picture to fill the full screen on the TV.

I have the BD - S360 and Bravia KDL-32V4000

your remote may be slightly different , but at the top of this one , below the green power button , thers a row of three buttons , the one you want is either on the left or the one in the middle , it changes the aspect ratio , you want zoom ..

edit.... its the top middle button on your tv remote ......

as hmtb says , the pic quality may not be as good when zoomed ..

A word of caution though. To get a widescreen pic to fill the screen, you're going to lose quite a bit of picture from the sides. Is that really what you want? Not to mention that you'll be stretching the image, thereby somewhat decreasing the picture quality.

Anyway, that's for you to decide.
