Freeview HD vs Freesat HD

So the big question is, which one of these will become the new norm? - the end for Freesat...

WTF - PR, do we know what 50% of the country will have FHD? etc

Why now, why wasn't this before Freesat?

the end for Freesat... FFS. No it isn't the end for Freesat-Freesat will always be around,because it's the only way PSB's can ensure national coverage of their services(which they're obligated to provide). Freeview isn't and never will be available in certain parts of the country.

WTF - PR, do we know what 50% of the country will have FHD? etc Yes HERE and you can check to see if/when Freeview HD will be available in your area HERE.

Why now, why wasn't this before Freesat? Obligation and DSO...

Freeview's aimed at getting 50% of the UK population into HD coverage by the World Cup in June. Not to be confused with 50% of the UK area. And so the priority was the high population areas around the main transmitters.
